Where the numbers appear

The puzzle has two separated sites. One is a prize box near the beach with 4166 and 1899 on its hanging sign. The other is a small button hidden far away. The numbers tell you where to find that button.

The box opens only while the remote button is held, so the final action needs two people in different places.

Method 1 — Use the paper map

First unlock the Map Room with the Red Tower key. Take the portable paper map from the table on the right. The large 3D floor model helps with landmarks, but it does not replace the paper map’s coordinate grid.

Read the target in two passes:

  1. Find the broad 41 band on one map axis.
  2. Find the broad 18 band on the other axis.
  3. Use .66 to move about two-thirds across the 41 band.
  4. Use .99 to move almost to the far edge of the 18 band.
  5. Once the group reaches that small area, stop watching the whole horizon and inspect the joined rocks closely.

Public guides describe the axis names inconsistently, so follow the numbers printed on the map rather than relying only on the words latitude and longitude.

Method 2 — Use GPS

The light-blue GPS / Coordinates Tracker is in a red square frame below or outside Green Tower, near the Main Chairlift Station.

Hold it where another player can read the screen, or attach it to a backpack so a navigator can watch the values while the wearer moves. Walk a short distance in one direction and notice which number changes. Correct that axis first, then turn and correct the second axis until the display reads 4166, 1899.

GPS is the more direct method. The map remains a full alternative if the tracker is missing.

Where the hidden button is

At the exact coordinate area, search on the side or behind a cluster of joined rocks in the south-central part of the island. The location sits between the railway curve and the broader chairlift/tunnel geography.

The control is small and intentionally blends into the rock. If the map or GPS says you are at the target, circle the rocks at close range instead of widening the search.

Final step — hold here, open there

  1. Leave one player at the rock button.
  2. Send the other player to the signed prize box near the beach.
  3. The rock-side player holds the button continuously.
  4. The box-side player confirms it opened and removes the control-panel piece.
  5. Release the button only after the piece is clear.

This distance is exactly where a walkie-talkie pair helps: “holding,” “box open,” and “piece out” are all the group needs.

Do not confuse this with Head Count

4166, 1899 is the coordinate-button puzzle. Green Arena Head Count is a different puzzle around 4100, 1880. Head Count has ten blue striped lamps with white globes; players count the black silhouettes that flash and enter their own run’s total.

Neither 4166 nor 1899 is a Head Count answer.
